Cake Club Part Three – Andy v’s Wiseass

Week three of cake club and Andy our CEO was up against web developer Mark.

After the scandal of Andy’s exit from Cake Club 2010 http://www.powwownow.co.uk/blog/events/cake-club-round-four, it was his chance to redeem himself …

Andy had baked a carrot cake with a mascarpone lime topping it looked very impressive, and tasted very good.

Mark’s was a more modest coffee cake with a light delicate flavour

Cake clubbers tasted and deliberated, and then tasted some more:

The vote was a tie; eight all! We had to get a guest judge in – the best cake judge of them all – Paul Lees:

He voted for cake A, it was decided Andy had won and he waltzed off into the second quarter final where he will face one of our next two contenders Maria or Carl!
